Great for beginners as well as those with writing experience!

​

Make space for your creativity and write in a safe, nurturing environment. In this four-part, online workshop series, each session will focus on different ways to connect into and ignite your creative process. We’ll also explore the stages of the writing process and learn techniques to deepen your writing practices. You can voluntarily choose to receive instructor feedback on your work via email between sessions.

 

Participants may produce pieces across fiction, nonfiction, and/or poetry (your choice), ready to be included, if desired, in an online blog journal published at the end of the series.

 

You will:

• Learn about your own creative process through exploration of creative processes existing in the natural world;

• Deepen your understanding of the writing process, from pre-writing to drafting to revision to putting work out into the world;

• Appreciate your inner characteristics and strengths in new ways, increasing creativity and resiliency;

• Acquire ways of being with present-moment experiences through our human senses, then translate that into your writing;

• Set yourself up to continue writing in the future.

 

Access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone is required for this online class. Come with a journal or notebook & pen for jotting notes and ideas, and/or your laptop or paper for drafting longer pieces.
